Student Algebra Seminar: Liu -- Truncations and t-structures

Title: Truncations and t-structures 

Abstract: This week I will talk about t-structures and their hearts for triangulated
categories, which is a way to recover abelian subcategories from triangulated
categories.  I will start by introducing truncations for derived categories, which is a
prototype of t-structures.
